Make Your Own iRig Audio Interface for Amplitube App on iPhone/iPod/iPad for £10

After recently downloading iRig software on my iphone I looked for the iRig lead which in the Apple store cost about £40. 
Looking around it seems you can mae your own quite cheaply.

Parts:1. 3.5mm male to 3 RCA male AV video cable

2. 3.5mm female to 2 RCA female adapter

3. 1/4 inch male to RCA female adapter



You may find that you have to switch the colored leads depending on which AV cable you purchase. It will work!
1. Connect the red lead on the AV cable to the 1/4" to RCA adapter. This goes into the guitar.
2. Connect the white and yellow leads on the AV cable to the 3.5mm female to 2 RCA female adapter.
3.Connect your headphones to the 3.5mm female to 2 RCA female adapter
4.Connect the 3.5mm plug of the AV cable to your iPod/iPhone/Ipad and you are ready to go.
